Pegasus Attache was born out of the love and creative endeavors of Jennifer des Cognets’s passion for custom furniture, upholstery, and leather working. Now residing in Davenport, CA, she found great satisfaction in breathing new life into old and decrepit chairs and footstools, often spending weeks on an item—striping it down to its bare bones and slowly putting it back together piece by piece. She restores the wood, ties new springs, adds layers of cotton and fabric until finally replacing the exterior upholstery giving the chair or stool a completely new personality.
The fine leather and upholstery-grade fabric handbags, totes, and cross-shoulder bags are designed and hand-made in-house with no two alike. Their character determined by an ever-changing flow of inspiration from past work, outside influence, and whimsical fate.
